Kimora Lee Simmons' Tweet Heat.

In my opinion, It does matter what Kimora does she will always be fabulous!!

I got this article from WWD Eye Scoop

TWEET HEAT: Kimora Lee Simmons
sure knows how to whip her fan base into a complete frenzy. When Simmons used Twitter late last week to reveal that she was exiting Phat Fashions, the division of Kellwood Co., many of the 189,668 followers were surprised, and some even in total despair over the departure, expected to be effective Sept. 1. Kellwood declined comment.

Simmons, who was president and creative director of Phat Fashions, with labels such as Phat Farm and Baby Phat, also declined to comment on the reasons for the split on Twitter, though that didn’t stop her from continuing to tweet in her usual dramatic manner about it. “Sometimes we have limited choices in life,” she tweeted. “We have 2 RIDE the WAVE baby! Team FABULOSITY!”

The television personality and former model, who was once married to Russell Simmons, isn’t likely to say goodbye to fashion, though. “We still have lots of beautiful things to do 2gether!” she tweeted. “Hold on! Can’t hold Team Fabulosity Down!!!” she added. “Like Dust....We Rise!”

Style.com report on JEN KAO Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear Collection

NEW YORK, February 11, 2010
By Meenal Mistry
"I'm slow and patient," Jen Kao said backstage after tonight's show. That's not a bad way to be, both in moral-driven fables and when you're a young fashion designer. Kao's Fall collection came across as a measured but firm evolution of her witchy, cool-girl look. The designer opened with a series of ultra-sexy but sophisticated knit dresses that seem destined for the closet of front-row fan Julia Restoin-Roitfeld. From there, Kao pushed her signature diamond-pattern paneling into new luxe and directional waters. She mentioned Moby Dick as an inspiration, but with the dramatic, high-collared furs and futuristic seaming—not to mention the straight-cut bangs—there were definite shades of Blade Runner. Still, two clear standouts—a body-hugging oxblood leather dress with the sexy flip of godet pleats, and a near-sheer seamed turtleneck tucked into a beautifully executed rabbit-fur skirt trimmed with Eddie Borgo-designed hardware—didn't fit into any overarching theme. Unfortunately, evening is still a work in progress: Kao's paneled takes on the gown never fully crystallized into an elegant look. The exception was a lovely, high-necked, almost Victorian embroidered gown that would do any woman, whether replicant or human, proud.
